‘Emergency’ Christian Aid envelopes are available at Church for donations to help survivors of Cyclone Idai in south-east Africa. Food, clean water and shelters are urgently needed. Envelopes may be placed in the collection plate at any Service.

A very successful pancake event
Thanks to all those that supported and helped yesterday morning, what a great event! The hall was packed with church members and our Catholic friends from St Edward’s. Many delicious pancakes were munched, new friends made and more than £200 raised for Christian Aid - a great result!

Important Car Parking information
Please note that the College overflow car park in Alma Road is now under new management. Our much appreciated concession for free parking whilst attending Church is no longer applicable. If you park there you have to pay £4 (one payment for all day Sunday parking, payable electronically only!).

Live Nativity Wow!
Wow what a wonderful day we all had, brilliant!
Lots of lovely new visitors with lots of children, beautiful animals (thank you to Basil & Co.), very crafty and imaginative messy church activities from the messy church crew, yummy food from the catering crew and volunteer bakers, great goody bags, friendly welcomers and a beautiful stable setting for our nativity scene (thank you to the creative crew). It was so much fun on the day - PERFECT (even the rain waited)!

Whitechapel Donation Deadline 26 November
A representative from the Whitechapel Mission will be collecting our donations during the week beginning 26 November.

The annual World's Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of McMillan is being held at the Manse this Friday form 10 - 2pm. Please come and support this cause.
There will be early Christmas cards and gifts on sale as well, all profits will be sent to McMillan.
Extraordinary Church Meeting - Your Church Needs YOU!
Extraordinary Church Meeting – Sunday, 2nd September, 2.30pm
It is hoped that everyone, who is able, will attend this meeting at Church as it is essential to planning for both the immediate running of the church, in the next year, and its future beyond that.
All contributions are welcome and the meeting will be minuted. Members of the Leadership Team will speak to each of the specific challenges facing the church at this time. The floor will then be opened for discussion, on a point-by-point basis.
This meeting represents your opportunity, as a member of the church, to contribute your point of view and to help steer the future direction of Windsor Methodist Church. After the meeting, the leadership team will put together a report and recommendations to take forward to the October Church Council meeting – Sunday, 2nd September, 2.30pm

Summer Holidays and Sunday School
Sunday School will continue throughout the school summer holidays as normal but with a bit more emphasis on learning by fun and games! All our children’s friends are welcome – as always!

Successful Concert!
A big thank you to the members of the United Methodist Choir who travelled from Alabama USA to perform for us on Thursday evening (as part of their tour). A wonderful evening of music and fellowship whilst also raising much needed funds for the Ugandan Community Hall Project. £600+ raised on the night with more to come. Thank you to all who supported this event!
