Live Nativity Wow!

Wow what a wonderful day we all had, brilliant!

Lots of lovely new visitors with lots of children, beautiful animals (thank you to Basil & Co.), very crafty and imaginative messy church activities from the messy church crew, yummy food from the catering crew and volunteer bakers, great goody bags, friendly welcomers and a beautiful stable setting for our nativity scene (thank you to the creative crew). It was so much fun on the day - PERFECT (even the rain waited)!

Extraordinary Church Meeting - Your Church Needs YOU!

Extraordinary Church Meeting – Sunday, 2nd September, 2.30pm

It is hoped that everyone, who is able, will attend this meeting at Church as it is essential to planning for both the immediate running of the church, in the next year, and its future beyond that.

All contributions are welcome and the meeting will be minuted. Members of the Leadership Team will speak to each of the specific challenges facing the church at this time. The floor will then be opened for discussion, on a point-by-point basis.

This meeting represents your opportunity, as a member of the church, to contribute your point of view and to help steer the future direction of Windsor Methodist Church. After the meeting, the leadership team will put together a report and recommendations to take forward to the October Church Council meeting – Sunday, 2nd September, 2.30pm

Extraordinary Church Meeting – Sunday, 2nd September, 2.30pm

At the Annual Church Meeting a resolution was made to hold an Extraordinary Church Meeting to discuss the Windsor Leadership Team report in more detail, give members more opportunity to express their views, and to allow more detailed feedback. This is essential to planning for both the immediate running of the Church, in the next year, and its future beyond that.

Successful Concert!

A big thank you to the members of the United Methodist Choir who travelled from Alabama USA to perform for us on Thursday evening (as part of their tour).  A wonderful evening of music and fellowship whilst also raising much needed funds for the Ugandan Community Hall Project.  £600+ raised on the night with more to come.  Thank you to all who supported this event!

Congratulations to our star!

Helen, one of our most conscientious Sunday School attendees is, for those of you who may not know, also an extremely competent and dedicated gymnast.  In February this year she came runner up in the Berkshire Grades Female Artistic Gymnastics, Grade 2 competition qualifying for entry into South of England Region Female Artistic Gymnastics finals.  Helen had a brilliant day and won overall becoming South of England Region Gymnastics Club Grade 2 Champion winning five gold medals (Floor, Bars, Beam and Range and Conditioning), and one silver (Vault)! The event was held at Dynamo Gymnastics Club near Southampton on the 24th March.

Many congratulations Helen on your fantastic achievement from all your Church family!
