The next date for the craft morning is Saturday 14 September from 10.30 until 12.30.
Do come and join this friendly morning, try a new craft or enjoy homemade refreshments and a chat with friends. Craft activities for adults and children plus a fun toddler corner - something for everyone! Entrance is free just a donation towards refreshments and craft materials would be appreciated.
Thanks to all those who came along to support the craft morning in aid of church funds. £60 was raised and a very friendly and enjoyable morning was had by all, beautiful crafted birds were made by adults and children. A big thank you to Marion for her inspirational craft ideas, can’t wait for the next one in September! Watch this space for the date.

Friday 12 to Sunday 14 July - there is a conference in the University of Lincoln which will be exploring the legacy of Suzanna Wesley, ”the Mother of Methodism” today. Please see our notice board for further details.
Our coffee morning and bring and buy sale on May 18th raised £271 and was a friendly ecumenical occasion. Thank you to all who worked hard to prepare for it, and to those who helped on the day.
Our house to house collectors and individual donors contributed a further £1393. Thank you for all your efforts and generosity.
Thank you to all those that supported the Coffee Morning in aid of Christian Aid, there was a bring & buy stall, some delicious Indian delicacies provided by Kitty and time for fellowship over a cup of coffee. Thank you organisers and helpers, watch this space for the amount raised……………
Come and join the fun with Mr Richard Cracknell leading the morning service, there will be a Sunday School Anniversary party followed by tea, coffee and fellowship in the Falder Hall. There will be Sunday School for all ages. A creche is provided for children and carers who need some quiet time. All are welcome.
If you could help with the house to house collection (even part of a street) or raise money in other ways, please see Mary or Graham. We are hoping to enlarge our coffee morning on Saturday May 18th to include some Indian delicacies and perhaps a bring and buy table.
Do come and join us if you are free, there will be the usual coffee, biscuits and fellowship plus 3 tables of activities!
Usual time 10.30 - 12.00.
Something to sew, something to colour and something for the gardeners too. Everyone is welcome, why not bring a friend? All proceeds to Church funds.
‘Emergency’ Christian Aid envelopes are available at Church for donations to help survivors of Cyclone Idai in south-east Africa. Food, clean water and shelters are urgently needed. Envelopes may be placed in the collection plate at any Service.

Thanks to all those that supported and helped yesterday morning, what a great event! The hall was packed with church members and our Catholic friends from St Edward’s. Many delicious pancakes were munched, new friends made and more than £200 raised for Christian Aid - a great result!

Please note that the College overflow car park in Alma Road is now under new management. Our much appreciated concession for free parking whilst attending Church is no longer applicable. If you park there you have to pay £4 (one payment for all day Sunday parking, payable electronically only!).

Wow what a wonderful day we all had, brilliant!
Lots of lovely new visitors with lots of children, beautiful animals (thank you to Basil & Co.), very crafty and imaginative messy church activities from the messy church crew, yummy food from the catering crew and volunteer bakers, great goody bags, friendly welcomers and a beautiful stable setting for our nativity scene (thank you to the creative crew). It was so much fun on the day - PERFECT (even the rain waited)!

There will also be refreshments and a Traidcraft stall with food and gifts to buy.
A representative from the Whitechapel Mission will be collecting our donations during the week beginning 26 November.
Please keep bringing your donations and leave in the box in the hallway, all will be gratefully receive. Please support this worthy cause.
