Rob Halligan: a bit of background on 21st October the award-winning Christian singer/songwriter Rob Halligan has been booked to give a concert in our church. Twenty years ago, Rob left his ‘real job’ to become a professional musician. His desire to use music to ‘make a difference’ along with his faith, honesty and storytelling have connected with audiences everywhere. The BBC’s Paul Gambaccini commented ‘These are some of the strongest songs I have heard.’ Rob tours nationally and internationally using his music and testimony to share the gospel and is as much at home in large venues such as the Manchester Apollo as he is at a local church café or folk club. He has worked with homeless charities in the U.K. and supported and visited children’s charities in Bangladesh, Ethiopia and Lebanon.
